Civil Service Commissioner

The City of College Place is currently requesting letters from individuals interested in volunteering as a Civil Service Commissioner. Commissioners must be residents of College Place for the past three years and be able to attend monthly meetings. Term of office shall be for 6 years. Letters of interest should be submitted to City Hall, 625 S College Avenue, College Place, WA. by Friday, September 18th at 4:00 p.m. Questions should be directed to Amy Strang at 529-1200.

Resident Firefighter

The College Place Fire Department is accepting applications for resident and volunteer firefighters on a continuous recruitment basis. Prerequisites: Minimum 18 years of age, High School GED/ Diploma, and a good driving record. The candidate must also pass a pre-employment physical agility test and oral interview. Firefighting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
